I can’t put into words how excited I am to be throwing down in Washington DC, on HALLOWEEN weekend, at a masive event, called PSYCHADELIC NIGHTMARE 2. So I’m gonna give you something better than words. Check out the video from last year’s Psychadelic event. When you are done, I bet you will be speechless aswell.
Now you’re excited too, right? And I haven’t even mentioned anything about the LINEUP. First, the vitals…
EVENT: PSYCHADELIC NIGHTMARE 2
DATE: Saturday, October 29, 2011
LOCATION: 2135 Queens Chapel Rd, NE Washington DC
Now, some more details on a few of the performers that you would be stupid to miss…
He has been producing since the mid-90’s, and co-running his LOT 49 label since 2004. MK is a pioneer of TECH-FUNK, and his unique sounds have seen him perform all over the globe, at many of the worlds biggest festivals. On Oct. 29, he graces Washington DC with his presence.
Check out his REWORK of THE WORLD CAN’T DO YOU NO HARM by D.I.M. vs PEACE DIVISION. This one is dark, filthy, and very groovy.
A product of the Florida Dance scene, this Chicago BREAKS producer, and ILLEVEN ELEVEN RECORDINGS Label Owner, will be in attendance, and blasting his choppy rhythms out of the enormous speaker stacks. Somebody’s gonna get hurt.
Grab his EDIT of WHITE KNIGHT 2 by SURKIN. This one’s chalked full of OLDSCHOOL Ravey goodness.
If you haven’t heard of 2RIP, you’re one of the few. This guy is well known, across America, for rocking huge crowds of rowdy clubbers and ravers. He’s also renowned for throwing massive events in and around the Washington DC area. No surprise, he’s one of the organizers of this night. An expert in pretty much any dancefloor friendly genre of electronic music, he will be throwing down a rare TECHNO set at PN2. This is gonna be special!
For a taste of things to come, jump on his original ANNIHILATING RHYTHM mix. It’s over an hour of Techno goodness.
These amazing artists will be joined by 5 OTHER HEADLINERS (including your favourite dead guy) and Washington DC’s finest local party rockers.
It’s so good to see events of this size and quality being thrown in North America again.
