I love that electronic artists are no longer bound by genres. They are more like visual artists now, and can experiment with different styles without losing their fan base for it. Here’s 4 tunes that are all a little outside of what you’d expect to hear from the artists that made them.
WHOLE SICK – VOODOO (FIRST DOWN REMIX)
The MURLO REMIX of this jam has been stuck in my head for weeks, and I’m crazy about JUKE music, especially if it’s sexy and smooth, so you can bet I’ve been pumping the FIRST DOWN REMIX with ferocity. This stuff is the future of Bass music. Get on board.

I KILLED KENNY – KEYBOARD WARRIOR
These guys are best known for their DUBSTEP, but some time ago, they released this TROPICAL BASS banger as a free download, and it’s been a favourite of mine since.
KICKBACK – FULL METAL TEAR UP
Some time ago, I posted a DRUM N BASS JAM by this Rave friendly Bristol based producer. Now, here’s a killer HARDCORE BREAKS venture that features a bunch of memorable quotes from FULL METAL JACKET’s SERGEANT HARTMAN.
NINJASONIK – WE DONT GIVE A FUCK (ZAP! POW! DIE! REMIX)
I posted the original version of this jam A COUPLE DEAD FRIDAYS AGO. Now, here’s the ghetto GRINDHOUSE remix by NYC’s ZAP! POW! DIE!

Fuck genres, anyways. Happy Friday, Dead Kids.
