Toronto may be cold, but there’s some mighty hot BASS music coming out of it.
When I first met THE KILLABITS, they were a couple of underground DUBSTEP producers releasing bootleg remixes on blogs, and throwing Toronto’s only Bass weekly, called BASSMENTALITY, in a small, dingy dive bar. With their charisma and flare for producing heavy weight basslines, The Killabits have risen from those humble beginnings to international acclaim, releasing chart topping singles, and touring all over North America, while still maintaining their weekly night, which has now been headlined by the biggest names in the Bass scene, and is being talked about all over the globe. It’s a combination of natural talent and hard work that has brought this duo to where they are now.
One of the factors that has seen The Killabits rise to stardom is the way they connect with their fans. They promised to release a FREE DOWNLOAD when their facebook page hit 10,000 likes. They even let their fans name the tune. The result is a slammer called THE STREETS. Give it a spin.
Still, Toronto is cold as fuck!
