Montreal’s DJ MUTANTE has a new GABBER project, called THE ENEMIES, and his OUR WAR EP is the BEST damn NEWSTYLE I’ve heard in about 2 years!
If you’re a fan of the hardest sounds, you gotta check out SUPAMAN, the first track off of this killer Canadian release. I don’t think I’ve ever heard such HUGE, creative use of distorted bass. Watch out for it in the breakdown (around 2 mins in). WHOA! Those “world’s gonna end in 2012″HIP-HOP samples are such a pump up, while also being, ummm, topical. Ha! Anybody know what song they originally come from??? Then there’s the delightful surprise of that familiar rock chorus from which the song’s title is derived. SPOILER ALERT! KRYPTONITE. Combine it with big synths and even bigger beats, and you’ve got yourself a guaranteed floor shaker. Wouldn’t you know it, that’s exactly what The Enemies did. Spin it, and if you’re lovin’ it, you best check out the rest of the EP.

This stuff should be getting so much more attention than it is. Gabber fans, help spread this post, yeah?
