UNSOLVED MYSTERIES OF S.M.O.K.E.

I’m feeling nostalgic tonight, so I’m gonna take you back to 2006, the year of my death.

S.M.O.K.E.

In ’06, STADIUM DRUM N BASS was all the rage. A trio of Italian producers collabed on several big room DnB releases between 2004 and 2006. Their final record contained a Z JAM, that would see a lot of play from myself in my early days of zombie-ism.

The tune was originally titled “L.A. ZOMBIE”, but for some reason, the “L.A.” got dropped on the track info, to just read “Zombie”. I’d love to know why the name got changed. I’d love to know what “S.M.O.K.E.” stands for. I’d love to know why the group disbanded after this final release. As you can see, there are several mysteries here that currently go unsolved. Until I’ve gotten to the bottom of them (I probably won’t, cuz who really cares?), atleast we have the music to enjoy. I’ve ripped it from my VINYL copy to share with all of you. Cheers.
