DEAD FRIDAYS: REPEAT OFFENDERS

When people ask me who my favourite artists are, I usually answer, “I don’t know. There’s too many”. Besides, it’s a complicated question. Real talk, tho, if I look through my play lists, there are certain artists who come up again and again. Here’s 5 selections by Dead Kids who’s tunes repeatedly find their way into my sets.

ACTUAL PHANTOM – SLENG TENG THANG

ACTUAL PHANTOM is an unsung hero of bootleg BREAKS. His productions are simple, but feature recognizable, dancefloor favourites combined with funky percussion, and dirty basslines. And he releases plenty of MARIJUANA MUSIC. Always solid!

COMIC STRIPS is a recent obsession for me. He makes such a wonderfully diverse variety of EDM sounds. His ZEDD REMIX is a great example of his more POP friendly approach.

DEV79 – IN GRAIN WE TRUST

Not only are his own productions top notch, but DEV79 is also one of the masterminds behind labels, SECLUSIASIS, and SLIT JOCKEY, which both repeatedly pump out the hottest progressive BASS music on the planet.
