Years ago, my best friend, DJ VIRUS, was vinyl shopping in Toronto’s famous PLAY DE RECORD store. Some homeboys were digging through the Hip Hop section at the same time. He overheard one of them pull out a record and say “all my nigguhs be bouncin’ to this one”. Ever since then, me and Virus have always used that phrase when referencing a new tune that we think is really hot. Below are 4 such tunes.

POLYEMORY – HYDRAFAUNA (BLOOD DIAMONDS REMIX)

An absolutely gorgeous, and cinematic reworking, by LA’s BLOOD DIAMONDS, that really defies categorization. If “beautiful” was a musical genre, I suppose this would fit in quite comfortably.

A song that’s as deep as its producer is mysterious. This one’s found on swedish label, 12-3 RECORDINGS, which consistently pumps out high quality HOUSE music.
