I’ve heard murmerings about a Nepali reggae scene before, but I’ve only just recently been introduced to one of its players, care of the OUTTALLECTUALS COLLECTIVE.
Straight outta Kathmandu, CULTIVATION is a dubwise vocalist, and follower of the Rastafarian ways, with obvious strong opinions on the subject of legalizing MARIJUANA. His second release, FYAH UP, is a spoken word piece on that very subject. Of course, the music he’s testifying over, comes from a UK based source.
A highly experimental producer, who has provided the multi-layered, dubbed out riddim for this politically charged, 420 friendly tune.
Blaze it high, and soak in this song for a bit.
