NEW MUSIC MONDAYS VOL. 012

I have this weird phobia where I need to see my food before it goes in my mouth. Have you heard of these restaurants where you dine in the dark? The idea terrifies me. There’s just no way I could do that. The reason lies back when I was a kid. My Dad used to have a substantial vegetable garden, and we would enjoy home-grown foods throughout the summer, and into the fall. One evening, my Mom picked, cooked, and served cauliflower that had small green worms stuck all over it. The worms were still stuck to the food as it sat on the dinner table. It was me who noticed hem, just as I was about to stick a fork full into my mouth. Ever since then, I’ve had this paranoia when it comes to eating unexamined food.
